Grand Admiral Thrawn

Grand Admiral Thrawn was one of the 12 Grand Admiral of the Galactic Empire.

Thrawn is the only Grand Admiral of Non-human origin and that in itself is
an accomplishment considering the Emperor's dislike of non-humans.

Grand Admiral Thrawn has a special ability. He is able to determine a winning 
battle strategy by observing the artworks of the race he is battleing with.

Not much is know of Thrawn. He served the Emperor in the unknown regions.
And it was after coming home from one of those mission that he found 
the Emperor dead,The Imperial Navy in ruins and that the New Republic had 
taken over at Coruscant.

Thrawn then rallied the remnants of the Imperial Navy to fight back 
againt the New Republic (which he  refused to call anything other
then the rebellion). His plan involved force-inhibiting creatures called 
Ysalamari's and a Cloned mad Dark jedi named Joruus C'Baoth.
Thrawn also started cloning troopers in the Emperors old Spaarti
Cloning cylinders facility in Mount Tantiss on the Planet Wayland.
He found out that by using Ysalamaris (which pushes away the force) 
around the cloning tanks the process could be speeded up so a new soldier
could be produced in two weeks.

Thrawn used a combined tactic of hit-and-runs,spies and superior planning 
and almost defeated the New Republic but was killed by his own 
bodyguard Rukh .
Rukh decided to kill Thrawn after Rukh found out that the Empire had tricked 
his species the Noghri into becoming Death commandos for the Empire.
